Summerfest is Saturday August 14th! PDF Print E-mail

Our annual Summerfest celebration will be Saturday August 14th from 3 to 7 p.m. here at Faith United Methodist Church.  Absolutely everyone is invited, and the event is free.  We will have free live entertainment, free games, free food, a free car show, a free dog show, booths you can check out, and a motor cycle rally “Ride for Christ.”  Invite your family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers.  The more people who come, the better the event will be, so please help us get the word out, and tell them it’s free!

We are still in great need of volunteers.  There are jobs both large and small, so regardless of your skills or abilities, if you can help for any length of time, please check out the Summerfest information table in Fellowhsip Hall after worship or contact Kellie Worlfinger at 433-3863

Upcoming Sermons PDF Print E-mail

August 1st   “The Sacred Moment of Communion”   I Corinthians 11:23-29

In the life of the Church, there are special moments of grace – things that we do in which God’s grace is made especially real.

August 8th   “Looking for More”   Ephesians 3:14-21

More of God’s voice in our ears.  More of God’s praise on our lips.  More of God’s dirt on our hand.

August 15   “Nothing New”   Mark 14:17-26

The Bible and our experience are full of stories of how people living in those circumstances still found God to be certain in the midst of it all.

August 22   “Our Hope”   Romans 8:26-39

“Is there an anchor to which we can tie our lives, even in the midst of those storms?”  This week, we’re going to talk about that anchor.
