Welcome to Faith Church – a United Methodist congregation based in Montoursville, but touching the world!

 

We are all looking for something in life.  Something to fill a hole that we know is there, but aren’t sure where it comes from.  If you still haven’t found what you’re looking for, we hope that you’ll give Faith Church a chance to help in the search.

 

As a congregation we want to help one another connect, serve and grow.  Our worship helps connect us with God, while our small groups and fellowship connects us with one another.  Tons of mission and ministry opportunities within the church, in the community and literally around the world give us the chance to use our gifts to serve.  And we grow as we learn together, work together, and give back together.

 

We don’t have all the answers, but we serve a God who does.  This web site will give you the chance to join us for a worship service, in reaching out to the community, or connect with a small group.  Whatever you choose, know that we’d love to have you join us in loving God, loving each other and changing the world by making disciples of Jesus!

Your First Visit

Learn what your first visit will be like at Faith, from the style of our services to our ministries for your kids to what to wear when you come.

 

What should I wear?
We invite you to dress in what you are comfortable with, whether that is a dress shirt and tie, casual and comfortable is jeans and a t-shirt, or somewhere in between. You'll fit right in. After all, the Bible tells us that God is more concerned with our hearts than He is with how we dress or look (see 1 Samuel 16:7).

 

What’s available for my children?
No matter how old or young your son or daughter is, Faith Church offers a number of safe, fun, and Christ-centered ministries for them to become involved in. Click here to go to our Campus Map that shows you where to take your children on a Sunday morning.

 

What are the services like?
Whether you choose our traditional service at 8:30 am or our contemporary service at 9:45am you'll experience friendly people and Pastor Larry Leland's relevant messages that will help you apply biblical principles to your everyday life.

 

Our Traditions Service starts at 8:30 am on Sunday mornings and features a structured service with great Hymns of the past sprinkled with favorite contemporaries.

 

Our Contemporary Service starts at 9:45 am on Sunday mornings and features a relaxed style of worship that encourages life change through a creative, compelling, and challenging presentation of God’s truth. In the contemporary service, worship leader Jason Schoonmakerl and the team blend both classic and new contemporary praise choruses that when combined together, bring the worship at Faith Church to the cutting edge of the 21st century church.
