The Church

What Are The Services Like?
Whether you choose our traditional service at 8:30am or one of our contemporary services at 9:45am or 11:00am you'll experience friendly people and Pastor Dave McCullough's relevant messages that will help you apply biblical principles to your everyday life.

Our Traditions Service starts at 8:30am on Sunday mornings and features a structured service with great Hymns of the past sprinkled with favorite contemporaries.

Our Contemporary Services start at 9:45am and 11:00am on Sunday mornings and features a relaxed style of worship that encourages life change through a creative, compelling, and challenging presentation of God’s truth. In the contemporary service, worship leader Rachael Hall and the team blend both Classic and Modern praise choruses that when combined together, bring the worship at Faith Church to the cutting edge of the 21st century church.

Our Core Beliefs
We believe in the historic doctrines of the Christian Faith as revealed in the Bible and summarized in The Apostles’ Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Doctrinal Statements of The United Methodist Church. In particular we emphasize:

  • God loves everyone and calls everyone to salvation through his Son Jesus.
  • Salvation is a gift of God’s grace through faith in Jesus.
  • Growth in unselfish love and bringing others to Jesus is the goal of Christian living.

Our Core Values
Connection: Jesus calls us to love one another and partner together in small groups and teams for worship, study, and ministry.
Cultural Relevance: While our core beliefs and values are unchanging, our methods, structures and practices change endlessly to adapt to the needs of a changing world.
Equipping For Ministry: We give priority to equipping all of God’s people to use their natural and spiritual gifts to serve others.
An Environment For Growth: We provide opportunities for your continual growth and development in all areas of life.
Equal Opportunity: Every generation, gender, culture, and race are equal in every area of our common life, and have access to the sacraments and opportunities for service.
A Philosophy Of Grace: We emphasize grace and mercy rather than guilt and judgment.

Our Vision
We will be a continually growing congregation in Central Pennsylvania that provides an environment where people become equipped for meaningful ministry, and go into the world to help others do the same.
