How to Help - Kid Connection

Classroom Teacher (Toddler & Preschool)

These leaders serve weekly and will pray for the children, prepare activities ahead using provided curriculum outlines, and greet attenders and guests warmly inviting them to participate. This will require at least one hour of preparation each week in addition to the weekly group time.

Small Group Leader (Elementary)

These leaders serve weekly and will pray for the children, prepare activities ahead using provided curriculum outlines, and greet attenders and guests warmly inviting them to participate. This will require at least one hour of preparation each week in addition to the weekly group time.

Large Group Teacher (Elementary)

These leaders serve on a rotating schedule as storytellers in our elementary program. Large Group Teachers prepare the Bible lesson and present the material in interactive story form to several “classes” (we call them small groups) of children at a time. This will require at least 2 hours of preparation for each week of teaching and may occasionally require additional meetings or rehearsals.

Kid Connection Helper

These individuals serve on a rotating schedule and will assist the teacher or small group leader. There is no preparation time involved; however, helpers are encouraged to engage with the children as they serve and expected to be welcoming and attentive.

Kid Connection Teen Helper

Any student under age 18 who is interested in serving may contact the Children’s Director for permission to help in our preschool program.

Kid Connection Prep Team

A group of volunteers serves on a rotating schedule during the week to prepare the craft and lesson materials for weekend Kid Connection programs. Please contact the church office if you would like to join this serving team!
